At Atmus, our commitment to protect what is important extends beyond the performance of our products to the way we operate across the world. Environmental sustainability is embedded in how we design, manufacture and deliver filtration solutions and it guides the decisions we make every day. Through a focused approach to energy use, emissions reduction, resource stewardship, product innovation and supply chain collaboration, we are working to reduce our environmental footprint while enabling cleaner, more efficient systems for our customers and communities.

Our environmental strategy is built around four interconnected focus areas: Energy and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction, Operational Resource Usage, Product Design and a Sustainable Supply Chain. Together, these areas reflect our belief that meaningful progress comes from continuous improvement across both our operations and our value chain.

Energy and Climate Action

Reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions is central to our environmental strategy. Across our global operations, our primary energy sources remain purchased electricity and natural gas, and we are actively working to improve efficiency and explore lower-carbon alternatives. This includes investments in more efficient equipment, operational improvements and increasing the use of renewable energy where feasible. Four of our facilities now operate with solar energy systems, reflecting early but important steps in expanding on-site renewable generation.

Our greenhouse gas emissions are measured in alignment with the GHG Protocol, covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions across our operations. In 2025, our Scope 1 emissions totaled 7,871 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent, while Scope 2 emissions were 27,300 metric tons on a location-based basis and 26,430 metric tons on a market-based basis. These metrics help us track performance over time and guide targeted efforts to reduce emissions intensity across our manufacturing and distribution footprint.

We continue to strengthen our understanding of emissions drivers and expand collaboration across our value chain. This includes working with suppliers and partners to better understand Scope 3 impacts and identify opportunities for long-term reductions. Our approach is not only focused on measurement, but also on practical action - improving efficiency today while building the foundation for more transformative change in the future.

Operational Resource Stewardship

Responsible use of natural resources is a key part of how we reduce environmental impact in our facilities and surrounding communities. Water is primarily used across our operations for hygiene, cooling and limited production processes, depending on site-specific activities. We source more than 99% of our water from municipal supplies and do not use groundwater or seawater. We also capture a limited amount of rainwater for reuse in select applications.

In 2025, our total water withdrawal was approximately 29.3 million gallons, reflecting a continued focus on conservation and efficiency compared to prior years. We also evaluate water stress risk across our global footprint to ensure responsible management in regions where resources may be more constrained.

Waste management is another critical component of our operational sustainability approach. In 2025, we generated approximately 22.7 million pounds of total waste, with approximately 73% diverted from landfill through recycling or composting. Across our facilities, teams continue to focus on reducing scrap, improving material efficiency and expanding recycling systems that support circular use of materials wherever possible.

These efforts are reinforced by site-level initiatives that turn global goals into practical action. From scrap media recycling systems that reuse production materials, to packaging reduction and plastic recovery programs, our teams are continuously identifying ways to reduce waste while improving operational performance. This combination of global strategy and local execution helps ensure that resource stewardship is embedded in day-to-day decision-making.

Sustainable Product Design

Our products are designed with sustainability in mind because their impact extends far beyond our facilities. Filtration technology plays an essential role in improving air quality, reducing emissions and extending the life of critical equipment. As such, innovation in product design is one of our most important environmental levers.

We are advancing sustainable product development through our “design for sustainability” approach, which integrates environmental considerations directly into engineering processes. This includes lifecycle thinking, recyclability, material selection, repairability and opportunities to reduce material intensity while maintaining performance. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools are increasingly used to evaluate environmental impacts from raw material sourcing through end-of-life, helping guide design decisions that balance performance with sustainability.

We are also incorporating more recycled and responsibly sourced materials into select product lines, including recycled cellulose and aluminum, as well as reprocessed filter media in certain applications. In parallel, innovations such as advanced filter media technologies improve performance and efficiency while reducing material use and extending product life, which can also help reduce waste over time through fewer service intervals.

In addition to product design improvements, we actively participate in extended producer responsibility and packaging stewardship programs across North America. Through membership in Producer Responsibility Organizations and related initiatives, we support systems that enable responsible collection, recycling and disposal of packaging materials, used filters and related products. We also collaborate with customers and suppliers to expand the use of returnable packaging, helping reduce waste across the supply chain.

Responsible Supply Chain

Our environmental impact is shaped not only by our own operations, but also by our broader value chain. For this reason, we are working closely with suppliers to promote responsible environmental practices and strengthen sustainability performance across our supply base.

Sustainability considerations are integrated into supplier selection and ongoing management processes. We assess suppliers based on multiple factors, including environmental performance indicators where available, and we expect alignment with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations related to environmental stewardship, human rights, safety and ethical business practices. Compliance with these standards is required for all suppliers.

We are also beginning to more systematically evaluate and address Scope 3 emissions associated with our supply chain. This starts with baseline assessments and supplier engagement to improve data quality and identify meaningful reduction opportunities over time. While this work is still developing, it represents an important step toward a more comprehensive understanding of our total environmental footprint.

Through collaboration, transparency and shared accountability, we aim to extend our sustainability commitments beyond our own operations and into the broader network of partners that support our business.
