Vinoo Thomas Appointed Executive Director – Global OEM Sales at Atmus

Atmus is pleased to announce that Vinoo Thomas has been promoted to Executive Director – Global OEM Sales. In this role, Vinoo will continue to lead efforts to grow first-fit and OE service and sales with new and existing global customers, while overseeing the development of our zero-emissions (ZEV) business. 

Vinoo joined Atmus in 2023 to lead our business development efforts with customers that we had not historically served. In that role, he created new customer connections, generated significant growth opportunities and built the organizational structure to convert these connections into results for Atmus.  

Prior to joining Atmus, Vinoo served as Vice President Americas - Smart Buildings and Vice President - Growth Segments at Belden where he doubled the fiber optic business and expanded the company’s presence in the data center vertical. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years with Cummins in a variety of commercial and engineering management roles, shaping market strategies and commercialization plans for successful product launches. He also served as general manager of the Powertrain business within what is now Accelera by Cummins.

Vinoo holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
